Reynosa, Mexico — In a heartfelt demonstration of Kimball Electronics’ commitment to Creating Quality for Life, a team of eighteen KEMX employees volunteered their time to bring joy, music, and essential supplies to the residents of the DIF Reynosa Senior Citizens’ Home.
From 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., volunteers spent the morning engaging with residents through games, music, and shared moments of connection. Employees brought prizes for a lively bingo session and played musical instruments while singing and dancing with residents as they enjoyed their morning snack. In total, 37 volunteer hours were donated during the visit.
The team also organized a company‑wide donation drive called “Pañatón”, collecting much‑needed supplies for the facility. The DIF Reynosa Senior Citizens’ Home cares for 47 men and 27 women, providing food, lodging, and daily support. With a need for 375 diapers every day, the home relies heavily on community assistance.
Thanks to the generosity of KEMX employees, the donation drive resulted in:
44 packages of adult diapers
32 packages of baby wipes
These contributions will help the center continue delivering dignified, compassionate care to its residents.
This initiative reflects the spirit of service that defines Kimball Electronics and highlights the meaningful impact employees can make when they come together to support their community.
