With the arrival of spring and a renewed sense of energy, nearly 500 employees from Kimball Electronics China (KECN), along with their family members, came together to participate in the company’s 2026 Spring Outing—an annual event designed to foster well-being, connection, and team spirit.

Centered on the theme “Embrace Nature, Walk Together,” this year’s outing reflected employee feedback and preferences, offering a diverse range of experiences across five scenic destinations: Nanjing Youzi Mountain, Yangzhou Slender West Lake, Nanjing Happy Valley, Jiangning Xinghua Village, and Hangzhou Qiandao Lake. Each location provided employees with the opportunity to step outside their daily routines, immerse themselves in nature, and enjoy meaningful shared experiences.

Surrounded by the beauty of the Jiangnan region, participants engaged in a variety of activities—from casual conversations and team games to sightseeing and sampling local cuisine. These moments allowed employees to recharge both physically and mentally, while also strengthening personal connections beyond the workplace.

Sally Sun, Quality System Engineer, shared her perspective on the experience:
“The spring outing was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. Spending time chatting, playing games, and enjoying the scenery helped me truly unwind. It also brought me closer to my colleagues, and I returned feeling refreshed and energized.”
