Kimball Electronics is excited to announce the launch of our first Employee Resource Group: Women In STEM Empowerment (WISE).

A new way we would like to support our employees is through the implementation of employee-driven, voluntary Employee Resource Groups (ERG). Employee Resource Groups are also directly related to our overall Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging strategy.

ERGs can provide an opportunity for individuals to:

• be part of an inclusive, safe space that nurtures connection with peers
• create a sense of community and belonging
• promote advocacy
• form allyships
• have fun while learning

As they are launched, ERGs will be organized around shared characteristics such as race, gender, disability, ethnicity, veteran status, sexual orientation, and any other personal features that society has demonstrated could create barriers and cause people to feel they are not part of an inclusive, equitable company.
