An update on Kimball Electronics 2022 $50,000 Global Give Project.

Last year, one way to celebrate our company's 60th anniversary, our locations around the globe were each given $1,961 to donate to worthwhile causes in their communities. In 2022, we decided to "kick it up a notch," this time dividing $50,000 between all Kimball Electronics locations to donate, at their discretion, to worthwhile causes in their communities.

Recently, GES-Vietnam (A Kimball Electronics Company) donated their full amount to the Nhat Hong Support Center for Blind Children.
"The center is a place to receive and raise blind children, especially orphans and blind children with multiple disabilities," says Thu Nguyen, Admin Sr. Executive. "The company purchased a number of necessities, as well as speaker and recorder equipment, to support learning for the children at the center."
The money remaining was sent directly to the center to help cover living and learning expenses for the children. At the same time, 18 of our team members visited the center to paint, repair, clean, and spend time with the children. This equated to 126 hours of donated time.

"With this ESG activity now behind us, what remains in the hearts of members of our GES Vietnam family is the feeling of happiness and warmth from having joined hands to create positive and meaningful values for the community. And more than that, happiness is doubled when seeing the happy smiles of blind children when they receive meaningful gifts and care from the extended family," says Thu. "Let's keep 'creating quality for life' together!"
